Youth Ambassadorship Project
The Youth Ambassadorship project at CIVICUS Cambodia works to connect Cambodian community with that of the international world, through motivated and model citizens chosen to represent CIVICUS Cambodia. These ambassadors engage members of their own communities in fruitful discussion bringing attention to the issues Cambodians face, and raising awareness to the work that CIVICUS Cambodia does on a daily basis.
Currently, CIVICUS Cambodia has two youth ambassadors: Alissa Rosskopf from Germany represents our European Youth Ambassador, and Kim Sothea Thangdy (Amy) from Battambang Province represents our National Youth Ambassador. Both have engaged the youth community by hosting events, distributing relevant materials and encouraging active discussions among their friends, classmates, and coworkers.
